It is not cute in real life you know. .

I think that just depends what side you're looking at it from...also the age of the child, gender, how the parent responds, setting. I think it helps that this takes place outside with a five year old girl.

I read she was eight...

that's not really the point though.

Perhaps not- but an 8-year old should know by then not to throw a tantrum over not getting a cake fashioned into the shape of their favorite animal- especially when it's simply because they misbehaved. And Hakase is a real, (often hardcore) prankster. Edit: Of course, this is still hilarious to watch in an over-the-top humored show (I personally LOVE this scene). But I agree that if I saw Hakase in real life- and recognized she was eight- I would be rather disgusted at seeing a child at that age so spoiled. Not to say that there aren't other possibilities for Hakase's spoiled behavior- having no parents around her, for example. But a bystander wouldn't notice that.

misbehave=不品行を行う
prankster=いたずらをする人
spoiled=駄々をこねる
bystander=傍観者 見物人

Nao: I must steel my heart. ... you're a robot. What else is it made of? XD

Aluminum?

hakase is a secret organ farmer... she made Nano out of human flesh, it is said in the second season

She actually says "I must turn my heart into an Oni", Oni are mythical creatures in Japanese folklore

folklore=民話 カタカナ表記:フォークロア

I have a theory: Hakase is actually a much older, respected scientist. Unfortunately, due to an accident in the lab, she became infected with an age-regression illness. As she began to forget herself, she created Nano to look after her.

I actually like this theory! Did you created it?

はい

Yes

And... that cat is her partners ...who is responsible or that accident

Dark for the show, but it could be possible.

ever child secret technique...... roll up on the ground and yell

It's not a secret. It's a reason I hate children.

In a way, hakase does have self control. She at least stops throwing a tantrum when nano isn't looking. :3

That's what every kid does lol

No, lower life forms keep throwing tantrums until either their parents or the cops pick them up. Hakase is obviously on a higher level than them.

The "I have" at the very end was the best

it means.. "understand". then sakamoto says "no u dont understand"

Why don't you learn some self-control
I have!
No,you havn't!

It's funny how the crowd weren't upset or annoyed, but found ti cute and funny XD

cuz thats what you do irl when a child of other people throw at tantrum

cus=because
irl=in real life

Here's what I've been wondering: if Hakase is only eight years old, then why doesn't she have parents?

Here's my theory: Hakase is obviously a child genius and made great strides in the academic world.  Odds are however that because of her superior intellect and selfish behavior she did not respect her parents, resulting in an abrasive relationship with them.  Sick and tired of being stifled by her parents Hakase decides to move out using the money she earned from her numerous inventions.  She likely graduated from college at a very young age, but again, because of her superior intellect and bratty attitude she did not makes friends with any of her teachers or colleagues.  With her education at its peak and her finances secure for the rest of her life, she finally began to realize that her actions have left her alone with not a single friend or family member to love her despite her success. Overcome by loneliness, Hakase builds herself a sentient robotic housekeeper and caregiver, Nano, to give her all the love, discipline, and affection she foolishly brushed aside all her life.  With Nano by her side, all of Hakase's loneliness and anxieties fade away and she is finally able to live her life as a little kid.

They were eaten by sharks. That's why she likes sharks so much. Every time she sees a shark she imagine her parents in them.

My theory is Hakase used to be a rich and famous adult scientist, who got tired of how comfortable her life is. So she made nano and made her body/mind turn back to a child's while retaining her genius, and moved into a small house in a small town to keep a low profile and hide.

if I were nano I would never look back
