・ラムの母親は旧アニメでラムの声を演じた平野文。ちょうどあたるの父親が旧アニメであたるの声を演じた古川登志夫と同じだ。旧の放送が４１年前で現在平野文が６７歳、古川登志夫が７６歳。これだけ見てもこのアニメ／マンガがどれだけ画期的な作品であったかがわかるというものだ。
Lum's mother is played by Fumi Hirano the OG the Original VA that played Lum. Just remember Ataru's dad is played by the original Ataru Toshio Furukawa. I mean the original anime came out 41 years ago. Fumi Hirano is now 67 and Toshio is 76. Just goes to show how ground breaking this anime/manga series was.

・本当に素晴らしいエピソードだった、前半後半両方とも楽しめた。「俺の出番これだ・・」楽しめたのはこれが理由かもｗｗｗｗ

Such a fantastic episode! I enjoy both sides of it. "This is all the screen time I get-" lmao probably why I enjoyed it so much.



・授業参観にあたるの父親がやってこなかったのは残念！特別ゲストとして楽しい再会になっていたはずだったのに。
It's a shame Ataru's dad didn't make it to Parent's Day! He missed out on a special guest and what could've been a fun reunion.



・平野文がラムの母親として戻ってくるなんて最高だね。ママ・ラムとラムが会話するところなんだか役をバトンタッチをしているように見えた。あと前半では宇宙語を喋っていたけど後半ではちょっと大人になった感じのオリジナル・ラムボイスで喋ってくれるところが聞けて良かった。

後半パートも素晴らしい！昔ながらの「失って初めてその大切さがわかる」という内容で、あたるはなにも言わず自分のもとを去ってしまったラムを想い打ちのめされる。だが実はパスポートの更新のために少しだけあたるから離れていただけだった。そして再会のシーン、あたるはラムが戻ってきてくれたことに安堵しながらも、なんでもないかのように振る舞う姿がすごく可愛かった。でもラムは何があったか全て知っているので嘘をついたって意味ないけどね。

It's so great that Hirano Fumi is back as Lum's mom. That scene where Mama Lum and Lum interact feels like it was a passing of the torch. And while she was speaking mostly their alien language during the first half, glad we got to hear her speak normally in the second half of the episode which is Hirano Fumi doing her OG Lum voice just a bit mature.
The second half of the episode is great too! It's a classic case of "Not knowing what you have until it's gone" with Ataru completely devastated at the thought of Lum leaving him without saying goodbye. Turns out that Lum is just away because she's renewing her passport so she can stay on earth. The reunion scene was so cute too with Ataru trying to act as if nothing happened when he was so obviously relieved to see Lum again. No use lying to Lum though since she knew what was going on.

ラムのママはセクシー！あとラムが（めちゃくちゃな）通訳をしようとするところで、オリジナル！ラムとニュー！ラムの間を行ったり来たりするところが面白かった。ただあたるの父親との再会シーンがなかったのは残念だったね（笑）

あたるがついに自分が失くしたものの素晴らしさと、自身にとってラムがどれだけ大切な人であったかほんの少しとはいえ気づいてくれて良かった・・・そしてラムはダーリンが実際どれだけ自分を大切に思っているかを聞く！このアニメは毎回クレイジーなコメディばかりではない、時にリアルなロマンスだってあるんだ！
Lum's mom is a fox! And it was fun how we got a back and forth between OG!Lum and New!Lum as Lum tried (terribly) to translate. It's just too bad we didn't get a reunion with Ataru's dad lol.
It's nice to see Ataru finally realize a little how good he's got it and how important Lum is to him...and Lum gets to hear how much her Darling truly cares about her! It's not always just a crazy comedy, there's some real romance going on!



・面堂の私設警察のシーンが面白かった！ローヒト・シェッティも面堂を少し見習ってほしいもんだ。
Man, Menod Private Police Force scene was hilarious! Mendo goes so far Rohit Shetty could learn a thing or two from him.





・後半がすごく良かった。今のところベストエピソード！
Love the 2nd half. Best ep so far for me!

今回は本当に愛らしいエンディングだった。あたるは本心ではラムのことを本当に気にかけているようだ。キュート！
The ending this week was absolutely adorable. Looks like deep down Ataru really does care for Lum. Cute!

ときに失ってから初めてその大切さに気づくこともある。
Sometimes, you don't realize what you have until it's gone.



・前半パートは特に関心はなかったけど、見どころはもちろん平野文だね、相変わらずいい声だ。

後半パートも使える時間を考えたらこれ以上ないぐらいの出来だったと思う。あたるが自分の過ちを内省する時間がないのではと心配していたからね。もちろん旧作の「心細いな」のシーンに匹敵するシーンはなかったが、こっちはこっちですごく良かった。あたるがラムを探してスタジアムやレストランに戻るところとかね。スローモーションで舞い落ちる葉と音楽が最後の場面をとても真に迫るものにしていた。よくやってくれたディヴィッドプロ。

I didn't care about the first part that much. The highlight is of course Fumi Hirano, who sounds as good as ever.
The second part imo was as great as it could be, considering the time they allowed to it. I was worried that it would go too fast and Ataru wouldn't have enough time to reflect on his mistakes. Of course the "kokorobosoi na" scene of the og is unmatched. But I really like what they did here. Like when Ataru goes back to the stadium and the restaurant looking for Lum. That ending was powerful with Lum in slowmo, the leaves and the music. Congrats DavidPro

・落ち葉が舞い落ちる中、ラムが降り立つシーンあそこまでやる必要はないと思ったが、彼らはやった。そしてそれは驚くほど素晴らしかった。
They didn't have to go so hard with the animation of Lum landing among the fallen leaves, but they did and it was wonderful.



・彼女があたるの元からいなくなった本当の理由は、パスポートの更新だったところがすごく面白い。
まあラムが人形に盗聴器を仕掛けておいてくれたおかげで、彼女が去ったあとのあたるがとても寂しがっていること、そして彼がツンデレであることを知ることになったわけだが。
It is quite funny that the real reason she was gone was that she had to renew her passport.
Well, thanks to Lum wiretapping her doll now she knows that Ataru misses her a lot and that he is a tsundere.



・今日のエピソードを見て、視聴者はあたるがツンデレとナンパ師を組み合わせた存在であることを知った。

・今期見ている６つのアニメの中でこれは大して期待していなかったアニメの１つだった。
でもこの場所（Redditのアニメを語る場所）に来るぐらいアニメ好きな人にはぜひ見てほしい。
For me this show is the one of the 6 anime im watching this season i did not expect to be.
Really should be watched by anyone who likes anime enough to be browsing this sub.



・あたるはゴリゴリのツンデレだな。
Ataru is a hardcore fucking tsundere



・とても心が温まった。ロマンスとコメディのバランスが素晴らしい。数話見たら切ろうかと思っていたが、こういう瞬間があるからまだ見てしまう。
Very wholesome. A good balance between romance and comedy. Thought I would drop this after a few episodes but these are the moments that keep me hooked



・後半パートは声優の演技からBGMまでただただ完璧だった。実は一瞬だけあたるのことを気の毒に思ってしまった。でも悲しいかな来週には全部リセットされてしまうんだよね。
That 2nd part was just perfect, from voice acting to the background music, I actually felt bad for Ataru for a minute there. Sadly, everything's gonna reset next week.









おわりに

せっかくなので旧の方も見てみたけど「心細いな」ってセリフかと思ったら歌詞だったのかｗ
確かにあそこは良かった！

てっきり平野文さんが歌ってるのかと思った


探したらそっちもあった
