・キュートなエピソードだったな、茜の出番がまたあって嬉しい。彼女はとても良いロールモデルだ。特に千夏のような子供にとっては。
あと魔女の服に身を包んだ千夏が可愛いかった。彼女が魔法で出来たものに夢中になっている姿が見てて良かった。

Cute episode, really glad to see more of Akane back. She can be quite a role model especially for kids like Chinatsu.
I think she looks adorable with a witch's outfit :> nice to see her getting into the magical stuff this episode.

とはいえ彼女もお手本を見て乗り方を学ぶだけで茜に直接質問したことはなかったようだ。茜は質問すればすぐに教えてくれるのにね。

To be fair, seems like Makoto tried learning by example and never did ask a proper question on how. Akane did immediately give her guidance when she asked.

真琴の姉はこの世界における最高の魔女の１人。それなのに彼女は１６年間一度も姉に教えを請うという発想には至らなかった。
Her sister is literally one of the best witches in the world and in 16 years Makoto never once considered asking her for guidance.

でも一方で茜は真琴が何年も間違った乗り方をしているのを見ていながら、あえてなにも言わなかった。真琴はどうみてもマンドレイクのように大声で泣き叫ぶタイプじゃないんだから最初から彼女が真琴のことをもっとしっかりと見守っているべきだった。
But on the other hand, Akane watched her doing things wrong for years and never bothered to say anything. Makoto's obviously not the loudest mandrake in the bunch, so Akane really should have been keeping better track of her to begin with.

ハハ、姉妹の関係なんてそういうもんじゃない。妹の成長を見守るのは姉の仕事ではない。
Haha that's not how sibling dynamics works. Keeping track of her sister's development is really not her job.

でも千夏はもうすでに可愛くてかっこいいよ。
But Chinatsu was already cute and awesome.

awesomeはいつもだと「最高」「素晴らしい」「すごい」とかで訳すのですが、今回字幕が「かっこいい」を「awesome」と訳していたのでそれに倣って訳しました。

便利なものがあるならそれを無視する理由なんてないよな？
さらに進歩的な魔女っていないのかな。科学と魔法の融合なんてあったら最高だろうね。
If its convenient in life, why ignore it? =D
Wonder if there are more progressive-styled witches around. A combination of science of magic would sure be awesome.

このアニメにでてくる魔法の地に足がついた現実的なところが好き。杖を振って呪文を唱えたり爆発を起こしたりなんてことはない。スマホのコンパスにペンタグラムを描いてロウソクを立てればこと足りる。
I just love how down to earth the magic in this show is. No waving wands around shouting spells and causing explosions. Simple phone compasses and drawn pentagrams with candles.

まあ茜も派手な魔法は使うのが難しいと言っていたし、彼女はほとんど経験０の人に魔法を教えようとしているわけだしね。
Well Akane did say that the flashier stuff is really hard to do and she's teaching magic to people with little to no experience.

違う、あれはパンツァーファウスト3。ここでこの武器をもたせたのはIHIエアロスペース制作によるパンツァーファウスト3を自衛隊が採用しているからじゃないかとか想像してる。
Nope. That's a Panzerfaust 3. I imagine the reason it shows up here is because it's liscensed to the JSDF through IHI Aerospace.

絶対関係ないだろｗこの無理矢理知識を披露してくる感じがオタクっぽくてよいｗ




・このエピソード自体も楽しかったけど、それと同じぐらい後ろで流れるハイスピードソルジャーも見ていて楽しかった。
As much as I enjoyed the actual episode, I also enjoyed watching High Speed Soldier in the background.

彼らの見ているテレビ番組のほうが実際のアニメの作画よりも良かったことに笑ってしまった。
I was laughing at how much better the animation was in the tv show they were watching compared to the actual show.

ハイスピードソルジャーにいくつかターミネーター２のハイウェイを思わせるシーンがあったな。
Some of the shots from High Speed Soldier reminded me of Terminator 2 on the highway.

マトリックス・リローデッドのハイウェイのシーンを作り変えたものじゃないかと思った。
I honestly thought they were remaking that high way scene from Matrix Reloaded.



・圭が見てた映画わかった人いる？
「Expiation in Ridle Prison」は明らかに「ショーシャンクの空に」だし「High Speed Soldier」は「ランボー」だったな。

そして圭はすぐ後ろで本物の魔法が実演されているっていうのにランボーのほうにずっと興味があるようだった。なんと愚かな男よ。
マジな話、圭、お前いつも映画見てるな。ちょっと後ろを振り返えれば、自然法則を捻じ曲げたものが見れるのにそれにはわずかの興味もないのか？

Did anyone notice the movies Kei was watching?
"Expiation in Riddle Prison" which was clearly meant to be "The Shawshank Redemption" and "High Speed Soldier" which was "Rambo"
And apparently he was far more interested in watching Rambo than he was in watching actual real magic going on right behind him. What a fool.
Seriously Kei, you can watch movies anytime, if you would just turn your head around a little bit you could see the very laws of nature being violated, are you not even slightly interested?

「ショーシャンクの空に」の原題は「The Shawshank Redemption」で訳すと「ショーシャンク（刑務所）の贖い」となり「EXPIATION IN RIDEL PRISON」を訳すと「リーデル刑務所の贖罪」となるので確かにここは「ショーシャンクの空に」のパロディなのか？（映画を見たことないのでRedemptionを「贖罪」と訳していいのか確信もてないところありますが）

・圭の見ていた銃の映画に茜がでてくるんじゃないかと思ってた人いる？彼女のアクションシーンが見れると思ったのにな、まあいいけど。
Did anyone else think that Akane was going to be in that gun movie that Kei was watching? I was hoping we would see her in Action but oh well.

・千夏が魔女になろうとしているところは最高だった。真琴が泣いて千夏が笑っている場面は見てて本当に楽しい。特に父親が２つ食べて泣いたり笑ったりを繰り返しているところが良かった（＞∀＜）
Chinatsu trying to be a witch was a great watch. Those moments when Makoto was crying and Chinatsu was laughing was really fun. Especially when their dad ate those and switched back and forth from laughing to crying XD.



・こんなに笑ったのは久しぶりだ。
結末はほぼ予想通りだったけど面白かった。特にお父さんが笑い／泣くところで爆笑した。
素晴らしいエピソード、僕のヒーローアカデミアと並んで今期話題をかっさらうアニメになるかも。
It has been a long time since I laughed out loud.
Outcomes were pretty much expected but I found it really amusing especially the father's laugh/cry which made me really laugh.
This was a great episode and perhaps along Hero academia they sure rocked this season.



・泣いている真琴を見ると強く抱きしめたくなる。

俺「列に並べ、同志よ」
話変わるけど、魔法の効果がマコに効き始めたところで笑いが止まらなくなった。あそこ面白すぎ。もしかして誰かがあのピンクの魔法のお菓子を自分の口の中に素早く放り込んだのだろうか。
お母さんは子供をもてあそぶのが好きだね、母親というのはどこも変わらなかったりするのだろうか（自分も母親にあんなことをされたので）。
Akane: "Can I have her? She's so cute!"
Me: Wait in line, buddy.
On another note, I couldn't stop laughing once the spell started to take effect on Mako. This was too hilarious. I wonder if someone slipped the enchanted pink snack into my mouth. :P
The mother loves screwing with her kids. I guess some things don't differ between mothers (considering my mother is just like that too).



・前回は途中でやめようかと思ったが、今回は驚くほど素晴らしかった！(^o^)
千夏と真琴が泣き／笑い始めたところで自分も我を忘れて笑ったｗｗ最後に父親が両方食べるのも素晴らしいオチになってたね。
茜がでてくるエピソードこそベストエピソードと言わざるをえない。今後もこんな感じで進んでほしい。ストーリーも退屈じゃなかったしスローテンポでもなかった。
今回は寝落ちすることなく最後まで見続けられた、これは本当に素晴らしい進歩だ！
今回は今のところ２番目に好きなエピソード。
I wanted to drop this last time but this episode was just marvellous! :D I lost it when Chinatsu and Makoto started laughing/crying and the dad eating both was excellent punchline.
Have to say that episodes with Akane are the best, this is how this series should be. Even the story wasn't boring as always this time and gone was a slow tempo of this series.
I even managed to not sleep while watching anime this time and that's quite an improvement!
Second to best episode of this show, definitely.



・なんでこんなにもこのアニメが好きなんだろう？
見ているとすごく落ち着いてリラックスできる。
このアニメが日常系に分類されるかどうかわからないけど
「Chill（落ち着く、まったりする）」ってジャンルある？
Why do I like this show so much?
It's super chill and relaxing.
I'm not sure if this is considered SoL though.
Is "Chill" a genre?

・ベストガール候補が多すぎる・・・さらに今回で千夏のママまでも？！先週はちょっと退屈だったけど今回は全くもって素晴らしかった、今までで一番のエピソード！

Too many Best Girl Contenders... Now Chinatsu's mom too?! I was kind of bored last week, but this one was absolutely great, the best so far!



・茜はおかしな、そしてなんの意味もない魔法を知っているね。
パパさん、夕食の前にお菓子を食べるからこうなるんだ！同情はしないぞ。

・茜はまだしばらくいるようで良かった！我らが可愛い千夏ちゃんが魔女になりたがっている！愛らしいね！

・これは田中くんと並んでホームラン級のアニメで間違いない。今期ぶっちぎりで一番好き、もしかしたら１年を通じて一番好きになるかも。
最後の数分は面白くて泣きそうになった。残り６話もこのレベルの面白さを維持してほしい。
This show is an absolute home run along with Tanaka-kun. Easily my favorite show of the season and quite possibly the entire year so far.
Those last few minutes almost had me in tears it was so funny. I hope that it manages to keep up this level of enjoyment for the next 6 episodes



・人を笑わせる、泣かせるお菓子だって？パーティーにもってこいなのは間違いないね。
Snacks that make you laugh and/or cry? Will be great for parties, I'm sure.



・今回がベストエピソード。父親が笑いながら同時に泣いている姿が面白かった。
This is the best episode I watched. Dad laughing and crying at the same time was an amusing sight.
